Online Shop Terms and Conditions

Shop Maritime Centre Vellamo
Maritime Centre Vellamo (VAT-group Merikeskus Vellamo Business ID 2198785-2) sells products and services in its online shop to individuals, communities and companies of legal age. The prices of products and services include VAT. Guided tours and museum entrance tickets are VAT-free. Maritime Centre Vellamo reserves the right to change prices and delivery conditions.
Ordering
You can order products and services from the online shop either by adding them to your shopping cart as preliminary reservations or by paying for the contents of your shopping cart at the online shop checkout. All customer information is treated confidentially. We will only use the contact information you provide when placing an order to deliver your order or to resolve any ambiguities that may arise. When ordering from our online store, you are required to read and agree to the applicable delivery and cancellation terms, see Delivery and cancellation terms below.
Payment
The online store's payment provider is Paybyway Oy (Visma Pay Oy), business ID 2486559-4. Paybyway Oy is registered in the register of payment institutions maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Paybyway Oy is registered with the Finnish Register of Payments. No registration or additional fees are required to use the service. All data transmission and financial transactions are SSL-secured, meaning that no third party can see your data.
Payment methods
Online payment buttons for online banks
You can pay for your order via the online payment buttons of the following banks: Nordea, OP, Danske Bank, POP Bank, Aktia, Säästöpankki, OmaSp, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken and Ålandsbanken. Once you have the username and password provided by your bank and are paying for your online purchase, you will be taken from the e-commerce page to your own bank for a moment and pay for the products you have chosen directly from your own account.
Card payments
Accepted card payments are Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. Card payments in the online shop are handled by Paybyway Oy. During the payment transaction, credit card details are always processed in a secure network connection. Card numbers are not stored in the online shop's information systems, but are processed by the technical service provider Paybyway Oy.
Cultural and staff benefits and Museum Card
The cultural and staff benefits (Smartum, Tyky+ and Edenred sports and cultural benefits) and the Museum Card that are accepted for ticket sales at the Maritime Centre Vellamo cannot be used to pay for tickets in the online shop.
Invoicing
Certain services can only be booked through the Maritime Centre Vellamo Customer Service by phone on +358 40 350 0497 or by e-mail at info@merikeskusvellamo.fi. In such cases, payment can be made in cash or by card, or invoiced afterwards. Maritime Centre Vellamo sends the invoice as a paper invoice or as an online invoice. The invoicing surcharge is €5.
Delivery and cancellation conditions
Tickets and event tickets
Ticket products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Tickets or event tickets purchased through the online shop cannot be exchanged, modified or cancelled. No discounts will be granted on tickets afterwards and no refunds will be given for tickets purchased.

Guided tours
You can make a preliminary reservation for a guided tour via the online shop. After a successful booking, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. In order to receive the confirmation message, you must provide a valid e-mail address when placing your order. You can cancel your initial reservation via the online shop free of charge 7 days before the booked time. We will charge the full price of the booked tour if the tour is not cancelled by the deadline. You can pay for the tour after the tour either on the spot or by invoice.
For reservations
You can make a provisional reservation for a meeting room via the online shop. After a successful booking, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. To receive the confirmation message, you must provide a valid e-mail address when placing your order. You can cancel a provisional meeting room reservation made via the online shop free of charge 14 days before the date of the reservation. We will charge you the full room rental fee if the reservation is not cancelled by the deadline. You can pay the rental fee after the event either on the spot or by invoice.
Third party products
Third party products may also be available for sale in the Maritime Centre Vellamo online shop. For these, the cancellation policy of the service provider or merchant concerned will apply.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure, Maritime Centre Vellamo may cancel the reservation. The customer who booked the service will be informed of the cancellation without delay. In this case, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the price paid for the service. Any indirect costs incurred by the customer for cancelled bookings due to force majeure will not be reimbursed.
